Question 1

What is Synfia?

Accepted Answer

Synfia is a Strategic Insight Partner. We help organizations understand what is really happening and why, then translate that evidence into clarity for action. Senior experts combine rigorous research design, structured conversations at scale and traceable analysis. The technology enables the work; the outcome is a decision foundation.

Question 2

How is this different from a survey platform?

Accepted Answer

Surveys collect answers to questions you already thought to ask. Synfia holds a conversation: it follows up, probes contradictions, and captures the reasoning behind an answer. The output is not a response rate — it is a structured account of what people mean, ready for a decision.

Question 3

How is this different from a market research agency?

Accepted Answer

A traditional agency often delivers a study and report. Synfia can start with a focused Clarity Scan, run a deeper Insight Project or establish an ongoing Intelligence Program. In every format, one accountable team connects the management question, research, analysis and implications for action.

Question 4

What do you mean by Strategic Insight Partner?

Accepted Answer

We do not hand over a login and walk away. Senior experts help frame the decision, design the inquiry, review the evidence and translate findings into priorities leadership can act on. Technology scales the listening; the partnership creates clarity for action.

Question 5

Who inside the enterprise typically works with Synfia?

Accepted Answer

Executive sponsors from Strategy, HR, Customer, Product, and Transformation. Day-to-day owners sit in Insights, People Analytics, CX, or the Transformation Office. Board reporting flows back to the C-suite.

Question 6

Why should we trust evidence generated by AI?

Accepted Answer

Because we can show our work. Every claim in a Synfia report is traceable to the verbatim quotes that support it. The AI does not invent — it structures, categorises, and quantifies what participants actually said. If a finding cannot be traced back to source, it does not appear in the output.

Question 7

Is the AI biased? Does it lead the participant?

Accepted Answer

Synfia is designed as an objective interview conductor, not an evaluator. The interview logic is built around neutral phrasing, open questions, and non-leading follow-ups. We audit the model against interview transcripts to catch drift, and every deployment goes through a bias review before it goes live.

Question 8

How do you avoid participants gaming the conversation?

Accepted Answer

The conversational format itself is the defence. Fixed-answer surveys are trivial to game; a probing interview is not. Contradictions surface immediately, and the platform flags responses that show patterns of disengagement rather than treating them as clean data.

Question 9

How is this more rigorous than a focus group?

Accepted Answer

A focus group gives you eight opinions in a room, filtered through group dynamics and a moderator's memory. Synfia runs the same depth of conversation with hundreds or thousands of people in parallel, one-to-one, with the full transcript preserved and analysed the same way for every participant.

Question 10

What kind of questions can Synfia actually answer?

Accepted Answer

Anything where the answer lives in what people think, feel, or intend — and where you need more than a rating scale. Why customers are churning. Where a transformation is losing energy. What the market is not telling the sales team. Which parts of a value proposition are landing and which are not.

Question 11

How long does a rollout take?

Accepted Answer

First conversation live in two to four weeks. First board-ready readout in six to eight. Full continuous cadence — where the platform is embedded in a strategic decision rhythm — typically within a quarter.

Question 12

Do we need to integrate Synfia with our existing stack?

Accepted Answer

For most engagements, no integration is required to start. When you want participant lists, HRIS attributes, or CRM segments in play, we support SSO, SCIM, and secure data exchange with the standard enterprise systems.

Question 13

In which languages does Synfia operate?

Accepted Answer

More than 70 languages, including regional variants. Conversations are conducted in the participant's language and analysed in the language of the executive audience — the same finding can be reported in English for the board and in the local language for the operating team.

Question 14

Can we run Synfia across multiple business units or geographies?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Multi-entity deployments are standard. Each unit can run its own programmes with its own governance, while group leadership sees the consolidated view across the enterprise.

Question 15

Do we need internal capacity to run this?

Accepted Answer

A single named owner on your side is usually enough. Our team handles interview design, quality control, and the analytical write-up. Your team owns the questions and the decisions that come out of them.

Question 16

Where is our data stored?

Accepted Answer

In the European Union, under EU jurisdiction, in ISO 27001-certified infrastructure. No transfer to third countries by default. Regional hosting is available where a specific jurisdiction requires it.

Question 17

How is Synfia compliant with GDPR?

Accepted Answer

Every engagement runs under a signed Data Processing Agreement. Participants receive a clear purpose statement before the conversation begins. Consent is granular, revocable, and logged. Retention periods are defined per engagement and enforced by the platform.

Question 18

Do you store the audio of interviews?

Accepted Answer

No. Audio is transcribed in real time and discarded immediately. Only the transcript is persisted, and only under the retention rules agreed for the specific engagement.

Question 19

Is the analysis anonymous?

Accepted Answer

Anonymity is the default. Reports work at the level of themes and cohorts, not individuals. Where an engagement requires attributable responses — for example, a targeted leadership review — that is set explicitly with participants up front.

Question 20

Do you train foundational models on our data?

Accepted Answer

No. Customer conversations are not used to train external models. Any model improvement happens on isolated, consented, and typically synthetic data — never on identifiable customer content.

Question 21

Which certifications do you hold?

Accepted Answer

ISO 27001 for information security, GDPR-conformant data processing, and additional attestations depending on the engagement. Full documentation is available on request under NDA in the Trust Center.

Question 22

How is Synfia priced?

Accepted Answer

By engagement, not by seat. A Clarity Scan, Insight Project or Intelligence Program is scoped around the decision, audience, cadence and analytical depth required. We define the appropriate format and investment transparently after understanding the challenge.

Question 23

Can we start with a single use case?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and most enterprises do. A first engagement is typically anchored to one strategic question — a transformation, a market entry, a leadership review — and expands from there once the decision-making value is proven.

Question 24

What happens when we discuss our challenge?

Accepted Answer

A 30-minute working conversation with a senior member of the Synfia team. We frame your decision context, identify the central insight gap and recommend whether a Clarity Scan, Insight Project or Intelligence Program is the useful next step. No generic pitch.

Question 25

What if we want to pilot before committing?

Accepted Answer

Pilots are supported when they are tied to a real decision on your side. We do not run demonstrations for their own sake — a pilot with Synfia produces evidence you can act on, even if you decide not to continue.

Question 26

Who is behind Synfia?

Accepted Answer

Synfia is operated by Synfia Labs FlexCo, headquartered in the European Union, with a leadership team drawn from enterprise transformation, behavioural science, and applied AI. Full company detail is in the Trust Center.
