    Comparison

    A modern alternative to HireVue.

HireVue turned video interviews into a scalable filter. Synfia takes the next step: intelligent voice dialogues that don't just screen candidates but continuously capture what employees, customers, and stakeholders actually think — with the depth of a qualitative interview and the scale of a survey.

    Positioning

Two different products for two different problems.

HireVue is a hiring platform. Synfia is the Conversational Insight Infrastructure for the enterprise. Organizations that outgrew one-way video interviews for internal research, transformation, and voice-of-employee programs typically land here.

    When to switch

    You've outgrown one-way video when...

The use case isn't hiring anymore.

Transformation programs, employee listening, customer research, and stakeholder consultation need different signal than a screening interview produces.

    Camera-on interviews suppress honesty.

People say different things to a camera than to a voice. Voice-only, no-evaluation dialogues consistently produce more candid answers.

You need patterns across hundreds of interviews.

Watching video is not analysis. Synfia codes and quantifies every transcript automatically, so you can see themes, drivers, and outliers at a glance.

Storing audio and video is a compliance problem.

Synfia never stores audio. Transcripts are the single artifact, and everything runs on EU infrastructure.

    When to stay

Keep HireVue when your job is hiring.

HireVue is purpose-built for candidate screening. If your workflow is talent acquisition and you need structured, scorable video answers integrated with your ATS, that's the right tool. Synfia isn't a hiring platform and doesn't try to be.

    Common questions

    About switching from HireVue.

Can Synfia replace HireVue for hiring?

No. Synfia is not a hiring platform. It replaces the internal research, employee listening, and stakeholder feedback use cases that some organizations tried to force into HireVue.

How is a voice dialogue different from a recorded video answer?

HireVue asks a fixed question and records the answer. Synfia holds a real conversation — it follows up on what the participant says, probes contradictions, and adapts to the individual response, closer to a human interviewer.

    What happens to the audio?

Audio is transcribed in real time and then discarded. Only the transcript is stored. This is a deliberate design choice for privacy and works well for enterprise compliance reviews.

    How long does implementation take?

Days, not months. Most enterprise programs are live within two weeks of the Expert Consultation.
